AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A TOURISM EXTENSION PROGRAM IN THE SCHOOL OF HOTEL, RESTAURANT AND TOURISM MANAGEMENT AT NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to establish a tourism extension program in the school of hotel, restaurant and tourism management. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
