Madam President:

    Your FINANCE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 240

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 3, line 17, strike "Until" and insert in lieu thereof "Except as provided in Subsection F of this section, until".

    2. On page 6, between lines 9 and 10, insert the following new subsection:

         "F. If the balance in the fund is insufficient to make the full disbursements pursuant to Subsection E of this section, the disbursement to each institution shall be reduced proportionately.".

    3. Reletter the succeeding subsections accordingly.

    4. On page 8, strike Section 2 in its entirety.

    5. Renumber the succeeding section accordingly.
