AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE CELEBRATION OF THE SPANISH COLONIAL HORSE AS PART OF THE ALBUQUERQUE TRICENTENNIAL CELEBRATIONS.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico highlands university for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 for the purpose of informing, motivating and inspiring the youth of New Mexico by promoting the celebration of the Spanish colonial horse as part of the Albuquerque tricentennial celebrations. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
