AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO ELIMINATE THE WAITING LIST FOR THE DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITY MEDICAID WAIVER PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifty-nine million dollars ($59,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to eliminate the developmental disabilities medicaid waiver program's waiting list for services. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
