AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE CULTURAL AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT TO FUND PERFORMING ARTS PRODUCTIONS FOR CHILDREN, CLASSES AND EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH PROGRAMS IN THE PERFORMING ARTS AND OPERATIONAL EXPENSES FOR A PERFORMING ARTS THEATER IN SANTA FE COUNTY.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the cultural affairs department for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to fund six mainstage performing arts productions for children performed by children, classes for children in all of the performing arts disciplines, educational outreach programs in the performing arts that have a bilingual component and operational expenses for a performing arts theater in Santa Fe county. All programs shall be conducted in Santa Fe county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
