AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO ESTABLISH A SOUTHERN NEW MEXICO CENTER ON AGING AT NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thirty-five thousand dollars ($135,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to establish a southern New Mexico center on aging in the college of health and social services. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
