AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE SERVED ON THE DISABLED AND ELDERLY MEDICAID WAIVER PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Seven hundred twelve thousand dollars ($712,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the aging and long-term services department for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to increase the number of people served by the disabled and elderly medicaid waiver program by approximately one hundred people. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
