AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH TO PROVIDE MAMMOGRAM SERVICES TO LOW-INCOME WOMEN AGED FORTY TO FORTY-NINE YEARS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to provide mammogram and related diagnostic services statewide to low-income women from forty to forty-nine years of age who meet the department's criteria for its breast and cervical cancer early detection program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
