AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE PATROL AND PROTECTION OF NEW MEXICO'S BORDERS THROUGH DEPLOYMENT OF THE NATIONAL GUARD.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Thirty million dollars ($30,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the military affairs department for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to support national guard patrol and protection of New Mexico's southern border through an operation called "operation protecting New Mexico's borders". Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
