AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE INDIAN AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT FOR VETERANS' SERVICES IN CROWNPOINT AND OTHER EASTERN NAVAJO CHAPTERS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three million three hundred fifteen thousand dollars ($3,315,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the Indian affairs department for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to provide veterans' services in Crownpoint and other eastern Navajo chapters of the Navajo Nation. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
