AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR SUMMER YOUTH SPORTS PROGRAMS AT FOUR POST-SECONDARY EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the public education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to pay for summer youth sports programs at the university of New Mexico, New Mexico state university, New Mexico highlands university and northern New Mexico state school. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
