AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE PREVENTION AND COUNSELING IN LAS VEGAS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the children, youth and families department for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to contract for domestic violence prevention services and counseling to prevent and treat substance abuse in Las Vegas. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
