AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR LITTER REMOVAL IN THE SOUTH VALLEY OF BERNALILLO COUNTY.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Thirty-five thousand dollars ($35,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the litter control and beautification fund for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 for litter removal along the public roadways, including medians, shoulders and public rights of way, in the south valley of Bernalillo county between Central avenue southwest on the north, Rio Bravo boulevard southwest on the south, Coors boulevard southwest on the west and the Rio Grande on the east. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
