AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF THE

UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO TO EXPAND THE MANUFACTURING

ENGINEERING PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred eighty thousand dollars ($280,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 for expansion of the manufacturing engineering program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
