AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR PROMOTION OF ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY FOR SMALL BUSINESSES IN THE HISPANIC COMMUNITY IN RATON.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three thousand dollars ($3,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 for an organization that promotes economic development and opportunity for the Hispanic community in Raton by focusing on small businesses. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
