AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR TAOS-AREA EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS ON ISSUES AND NEEDS OF SENIOR CITIZENS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Seven thousand eight hundred dollars ($7,800) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 for the town of Taos and its Phil Lovato senior citizen center to support educational programs on the issues and needs of the senior citizens of Taos. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
