AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE STATE FAIR COMMISSION FOR EDUCATION PROGRAMS AT THE AFRICAN-AMERICAN PERFORMING ARTS AND EXHIBIT HALL.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the state fair commission for expenditure in fiscal years 2007 and 2008 to develop and implement cultural, historical, fine arts and performing arts education programs and coordinate education activities at the African-American performing arts and exhibit hall. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
