AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF NEW MEXICO HIGHLANDS UNIVERSITY FOR A SYMPOSIUM ON PADRE ANTONIO JOSE MARTINEZ.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Sixty-five thousand dollars ($65,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico highlands university for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 for a symposium on Padre Antonio Jose Martinez. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
