AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO OPERATE AND STAFF AND MEET CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATIONS RELATING TO THE CAMINO REAL INTERNATIONAL HERITAGE CENTER.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred forty-nine thousand four hundred dollars ($249,400) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of cultural affairs for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 for the operation and staffing of the Camino Real international heritage center, a joint project with the federal bureau of land management, and to meet the department's contractual obligations to the federal bureau of land management. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
