AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO RESTORE FUNDING FOR INDEPENDENT LIVING PROGRAMS STATEWIDE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thirty-six thousand four hundred thirty-six dollars ($136,436) is appropriated from the general fund to the vocational rehabilitation division of the public education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to restore funding for independent living programs statewide. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
