AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR PROGRAMS FOR HOMELESS CHILDREN IN DONA ANA COUNTY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the children, youth and families department for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to provide programs for homeless children in Dona Ana county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
