AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO'S CHARLIE MORRISEY RESEARCH HALL TO PROVIDE A DISTANCE LEARNING, WEB-BASED MATHEMATICS AND SCIENCE ACADEMIC CURRICULUM.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for the Charlie Morrisey research hall for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to provide a distance learning, web-based mathematics and science curriculum using the cyberquest web-based learning program and robotic teacher software. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
