AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE TOURISM DEPARTMENT FOR USS NEW MEXICO CEREMONIES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the tourism department for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to sponsor and support the submarine USS New Mexico at milestone ceremonies during construction and commissioning. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
