AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE OF THE DISTRICT ATTORNEYS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two million eighty-two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,082,500) is appropriated from the general fund to the administrative office of the district attorneys for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to provide for parity salary adjustments for attorneys in the district attorney offices. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
