AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE TOURISM DEPARTMENT FOR DEVELOPMENT OF A CENTENNIAL COMMEMORATION PLAN.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the tourism department for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to advance the statewide master plan for commemorating the centennial of New Mexico's admission to statehood in 1912, focusing on statewide research, assessment and selection of one hundred significant historic public structures in the state's thirty-three counties to be revitalized for the centennial celebration. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
