AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE AND STIMULATE SPORTS ACTIVITIES FOR THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS AND THE LAS VEGAS PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICTS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Seventy thousand dollars ($70,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to provide and stimulate sports activities for the city of Las Vegas and the west Las Vegas and Las Vegas city public school districts utilizing school and community members. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
