AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A CIVIL ATTORNEY IN THE SECOND JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($125,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the second judicial district court for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to provide salary and benefits for a full-time civil attorney in the second judicial district court. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
