AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE LOCAL GOVERNMENTS ROAD FUND.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Ten million dollars ($10,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local governments road fund for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to construct or improve local government highways, streets, school bus routes and related facilities pursuant to Section 67-3-28.2 NMSA 1978. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
