AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR AN ENGLISH/SPANISH AND CULTURAL IMMERSION PROGRAM AND CURRICULA DEVELOPMENT AT NEW MEXICO HIGHLANDS UNIVERSITY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico highlands university for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to support an English/Spanish and cultural immersion program and curricula development. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall not revert to the general fund.
