AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A FILMMAKING TRAINING PILOT PROGRAM FOR SANTA FE PUBLIC SCHOOL TEACHERS AT SANTA FE COMMUNITY COLLEGE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred sixty thousand dollars ($160,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the higher education department for expenditure in fiscal years 2007 and 2008 to fund a filmmaking training pilot program for Santa Fe public school teachers at Santa Fe community college. The appropriation shall be used for film equipment and teaching materials for the program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
