AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO FUND A DOCUMENTARY FILM PROJECT ON THE HISTORY OF EL CAMINO REAL DE TIERRA ADENTRO THAT EXTENDS FROM MEXICO CITY TO SANTA FE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Six hundred thousand dollars ($600,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the cultural affairs department for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to fund production costs for a documentary film project on the history of el camino real de tierra adentro that extends from Mexico City to Santa Fe. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
