AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO FUND A PILOT PROGRAM THAT PROVIDES OUTREACH SERVICES TO MINORITY AND IMMIGRANT SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS AND ENTREPRENEURS IN NORTHERN NEW MEXICO.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the economic development department for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 for a pilot program that provides outreach training and mentoring services to minority and immigrant small business owners and entrepreneurs in Santa Fe and San Miguel counties. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
