AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO INCREASE FUNDING FOR THE FAMILY, INFANT, TODDLER PROGRAM.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Five million dollars ($5,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to increase funding for the family, infant, toddler program statewide system of early intervention services for children who have or are at risk of developmental delays and disabilities and to increase reimbursement for providers of these services. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
