AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A CLOUD SEEDING PROGRAM IN THE JEMEZ Y SANGRE REGIONAL WATER PLANNING DISTRICT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One million four hundred thousand dollars ($1,400,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the interstate stream commission for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to conduct a demonstration cloud seeding program in the Jemez y Sangre regional water planning district. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
