AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE INSTITUTE OF PUBLIC LAW AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO SCHOOL OF LAW FOR PILOT PROGRAMS TO TRAIN EXECUTIVE BRANCH EMPLOYEES, HEARING OFFICERS AND COMMISSIONERS.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--

          A. Two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 for the institute of public law for the following purposes in the following amounts:

                (1) two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to develop a pilot web-based training program for all executive branch employees; and

                (2) fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to develop a pilot training program for executive branch hearing officers and commissioners.

          B. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
