AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO MATCH FEDERAL MONEY FOR THE NEW MEXICO SPACE GRANT CONSORTIUM BASED AT NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Five hundred seventy-five thousand dollars ($575,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to match federal money for the New Mexico space grant consortium. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
