AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE SECOND JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT FOR A RESTORATIVE JUSTICE PROGRAM FOR WOMEN.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Forty thousand dollars ($40,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the second judicial district court for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 for a restorative justice program for women. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
