AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A COUNSELOR FOR STUDENTS IN THE AMERICAN INDIAN PROGRAM AT NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifty-two thousand dollars ($52,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to provide for a counselor for students enrolled in the American Indian program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
