AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE AGRICULTURE LEADERSHIP PROGRAM AT NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to establish an agriculture leadership program in the college of agriculture and home economics to provide business skills training for agricultural producers. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
