AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH FOR KIDNEY DIALYSIS UNITS IN QUAY AND UNION COUNTIES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 for kidney dialysis units in Quay and Union counties. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
