AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE SERVICE MEMBERS' LIFE INSURANCE REIMBURSEMENT FUND.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One million five hundred thousand dollars ($1,500,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the service members' life insurance reimbursement fund for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to pay premium reimbursements pursuant to the provisions of Section 20-4-7.3 NMSA 1978. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
