A MEMORIAL
DECLARING TUESDAY, JANUARY 25, 2005 AS "CITY OF SANTA FE DAY" AT THE NEW MEXICO LEGISLATURE.
WHEREAS, New Mexico has the distinction of having the most unique, beautiful, historic and colorful state capital in the United States; and
WHEREAS, it is a pleasure for legislators from across the state to spend time in Santa Fe when their legislative duties call them to town; and
WHEREAS, members of the legislature always feel welcome in Santa Fe; and
WHEREAS, there is no other natural setting more lovely for the seat of state government;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO that January 25, 2005 be declared "City of Santa Fe Day" at the New Mexico Legislature.
