A JOINT MEMORIAL

REQUESTING THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO ASSUME RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF UPPER RANCHITOS ROAD, AB-004, IN TAOS COUNTY.

     WHEREAS, the cost to maintain upper Ranchitos road, AB-004, far exceeds Taos county's ability to maintain it;

     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO that the department of transportation be requested to assume responsibility for the maintenance of upper Ranchitos road, AB-004, in Taos county; and

     BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this memorial be transmitted to the secretary of transportation.
