SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
House Bill 249 inserts language in the Public Finance Act to align numerical references related
to the total program units to determine program cost related to National Board Certification.
Significant Issues
According to PED, the calculation of program cost including National Board Certification con-
flicts with NMSA 1978, Section 22-8-18, paragraph A which includes the sum of program units
itemized to calculate program cost. House Bill 249 amends Section 22-8-18, Paragraph A.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
House Bill 249 is technical in nature and does not have a fiscal impact.
