if they are used for other purposes.

SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
Senate Bill 1069 requires the Legislative Finance Committee to determine whether a piece of
proposed legislation requires a “Family Impact Report” and request the appropriate state agency
prepare a family impact report.
Significant Issues
A family impact report shall consider the subject matter of the proposed legislation and provide
information that addresses the 34 areas outlined in section F as appropriate.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
This bill does not contain an appropriation; however, there is a potential fiscal impact with pas-
sage of this bill at the agency level and at the LFC.
