SUMMARY

Synopsis of Bill

Senate Bill 1053 appropriates $150,000 from the general fund to the Department of Finance and

Administration (DFA) to permit the City of Albuquerque to prepare a metropolitan redevelop-

ment plan for the Clayton Heights-Lomas del Cielo Neighborhood Association

Significant Issues

The Clayton Heights-Lomas del Cielo Neighborhood Association is located west of Yale and

south of Bell in the southeastern quadrant of Albuquerque, according to the Albuquerque Plan-

ning Department.

FISCAL IMPLICATIONS

The appropriation of $150,000 contained in this bill is a recurring expense to the general fund.

Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of FY06 would revert to the

general fund.
