Synopsis of Bill
Senate Bill 978 appropriates $1,000.0 from the general fund to Legislative Council Service to
provide contract and regular staff with expertise in health care delivery, financing, research and
related health issue.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
The appropriation of $1,000.0 contained in this bill is a recurring expense to the general fund.
Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert
to the general fund.
ADMINISTRATIVE IMPLICATIONS
Legislative Council Service will be responsible for the administrative functions such as advertis-
ing, interviewing, and hiring of staff as well as contracting with experts in the field of health
care.
