SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
Senate Bill 707 would exclude students at four-year public post-secondary institutions from re-
ceiving lottery tuition scholarships during a semester in which they enroll in at least one remedial
course. As well, students at two-year community colleges would not be eligible for lottery tui-
tion scholarships for semesters during which they take two or more remedial courses.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
Given no data on the underlying base of students meeting the criteria specified in this bill, the
fiscal impact of this bill is indeterminant at this time.
