SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
Senate Bill 516 amends the current definition of an ignition interlock device to “a device, ap-
proved by the traffic safety bureau, that prevents the operation of a motor vehicle by an intoxi-
cated or impaired person.”
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
AOC states there will be a minimal administrative cost for statewide update, distribution, and
documentation of statutory changes.
