SUMMARY

Synopsis of Bill

Senate Bill 505 appropriates $75,000 from the general fund to the Cultural Affairs Department

(DCA) for the Valley Community Library in Anthony.

FISCAL IMPLICATIONS

The appropriation of $75,000 contained in this bill is a recurring expense to the general fund.

Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of FY06 shall revert to the gen-

eral fund.

ADMINISTRATIVE IMPLICATIONS

According to DCA, a procedure is in place at the New Mexico State Library to pass these funds

through to Dona Ana County who administers them for the Valley Community Library.
